This year CNY doesnt feel right at all.
As usual, went to grandpa second uncle house to have our annual CNY reunion dinner. But without ah gong, it just don't feel right. My cheena piang house doesnt even have those dangling reddish ornaments around. No house visiting. No dinner at granny's place. It is just so weird. AND NO ANG BAOS FROM MY PARENTS. But still, the laughter still gathered ard the round table when we sat down together for the reunion dinner just now. =)
Plans for 2008 CNY
大年初一 -> Going over to grand's house to pay visit then prepare for own house steamboat dinner. Er ge's gf is going to join us this year =))
初二 -> Most probably catching movie with my folks and then have dinner outside.
初三 -> Morning going over to tanjong pagar to pay respects to my uncle. Then maybe going to M'sia to help dad to get his hamper(s) out and maybe SHOPPING ?! HAHA.
初四 -> Slack at home or stuck in M'sia.
初五 -> Meet out with frens.
After these five days.. WORK !! HAHA.
And. I think I am having phobia of grocery shopping after this CNY. I had gone to the BIG BIG supermarkets such as GIANT 2x , wet market over at my house area countless times. And all these result = fridge overflow....... Seriously, i have 2 fridges and both of them are filled with food !! Mummy had brought abit too much this year .. NVM. This symbolise good year with abundant food ahead =DDD
